Strange Beauty

I found this strange tree in the woodland area of our backyard. It has very odd flowers. Does anyone have an inkling of what it is?

Gorgeous pictures. I showed this tree to my husband, who is the expert. He wants to know if the tree produces a fruit?

You are friends with the beloved annie from youngstown! Yeah. She is a total doll!

Thanks for the compliments! There's been no fruit as of yet, but I'll keep a lookout.

I've know Ann since since 1983. She's fantastic gal with a great sense of style!
